Our Programmes

Playgroup
18 - 24 months
The first three years of a child's life is a crucial period for brain development (Facts for Life, n.d.). It is a time of rapid cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional and motor development. Everything the child sees, touches, tastes, smells or hears helps to shape the brain for thinking, feeling, moving and learning. Therefore, the playgroup programme focuses on forging a relationship and strong bonds with the children while providing many opportunities for sensorial, hands-on activities.
Nursery One
2 - 3 years old
Children in Nursery One are a step further in their early years and are exploring much more of their world. This is why we plan for even more authentic experiences accompanied by plenty of communication, such as describing and encouraging, where they would be able to construct a stable foundation of knowledge.

Nursery Two
3 - 4 years old
As children progress to Nursery 2, they are more independent and self-reliant where opportunities are provided for carrying out tasks individually or in groups under the facilitation of teachers. Learning is integrated through the inquiry process where children are encouraged to ask questions and explore their areas of interests. Their imagination and analytical skills allow them to discover and understand the concept of cause and effect as they prepare for their kindergarten years.
Kindergarten One
4 - 5 years old
At K1, children are more independent and have greater autonomy over their learning. They are inquisitive and always ready to explore. The curriculum gives children control over their work, with guidance from the teacher. They learn by doing and think out-of-the-box to problem-solve. The children are starting to record and document down their findings, which nurture their love for life-long learning.

Kindergarten Two
5 - 6 years old
At Kindergarten Two, children start to ask purposeful questions and develop more curiosity about the world they live in. With the inquiry-based approach, the Kindergarten Twos will get to explore answers to their own questions. Other learning areas like numeracy and language and literacy are also integrated into the curriculum. To ensure a smooth transition from Kindergarten to Primary School, there will also be multiple school visits for them.
