Our Team
Bringing out the best in every child.

Ms Jane
Ms Jane is the Centre Leader at Eureka! Preschool. Having more than 20 years of experience in the field, she is well-aware of the day-to-day operations and ensures that every child is cared for under the guidance of the teachers.
It is my honour to be the centre leader of Eureka! Preschool. I believe all children can excel. The key is taking the learning to their level and building from that point. The trick is tapping into their strongest learning modality and not giving up until you find it. The challenge is making learning meaningful by forming connections to their lives and experiences. The joy is convincing them they are deserving of love and respect and capable of achieving anything they believe they can achieve. The reward is being part of this wondrous process.
I pledge to empower teachers to make the best possible difference for every child, every day. I look forward to working as a team with parents, children, teachers, staff, and the community to give our children the exemplary education necessary for success.

Mr Rayyan
The only male in the centre, Mr Rayyan was promoted to the Deputy Centre Leader position in 2017 after 5 years in the classroom. He graduated from Singapore University of Social Sciences with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with Minor in Music.
I love working around children, and with children. I believe that every child has equal rights to education. They need to be given the best environment and resources to nurture and grow in, as they are our future leaders. As such, I placed great emphasis on providing children with authentic learning experiences, and the space to ask questions. I want my teachers to treat every child with respect and care for them genuinely.

Teacher Winnie
Teacher Winnie is the Playgroup English Teacher. She joined us in 2016 upon completing her studies at the SEED Institute after a mid-career switch from being an accountant.
When it comes to development, the early stages of children’s lives are the most vital. I strongly believe that children need to be able to form secure attachments with both their teacher and parents, hence collaboration is important to me as well. I strive to provide a safe and loving environment where children get to every opportunity to learn at their own pace. I will never force a child to learn anything that he/she isn’t ready to. I believe my passion for teaching children will go a long way, and it is my number one priority to do my best in everything I do.

Chen Laoshi
Chen Laoshi is our Senior Chinese Teacher at Eureka Preschool, taking the Playgroup children. She graduated from Beijing Normal University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education (Chinese).

Teacher Firzanah
Teacher Firzanah, the Nursery One teacher, had her mid-career switch after realizing her passion is in touching little hearts and impacting little minds. She attained her WSQ Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Childcare) 5 years back and has since been with Eureka! Preschool.
I believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in what they are doing. As such, there should be concrete hands-on experiences for children to be engaged through all angles possibles, which can be achieved when lessons are interesting and allow children to use their senses.
Whilst children have the potential to gain as much knowledge as they like, they can also be fragile. Giving encouragement and respecting them is another belief that I hold dear, as this is how children can gain the confidence to keep going.

Li Laoshi
Li Laoshi is the Nursery One Chinese Teacher with 5 years of experience in the industry. She graduated from National Taiwan University with a Degree in Early Childhood Education, majoring in Music and Movement.

Teacher Yuluan
Teacher Yuluan is the Nursery Two English Teacher. She has been with us for 4 years with a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, specialising in Physical Development and Play for young children.
I believe that every child can reach their full potential with ample time and opportunities given. As children develop at varying rates, some may require more time to make sense of their understanding as compared to their peers but all will eventually succeed. I, therefore, respect every child’s learning pace and do my best to support their learning.
I aspire to be an educator who not only teaches and care for children but also work with parents and colleagues to promote a holistic development for children.

Zhang Laoshi
Zhang Laoshi is the Nursery Two Chinese Teacher. She graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Chinese).

Teacher Jocelyn
Teacher Jocelyn is the Kindergarten One English Teacher at Eureka! Preschool. She joined the industry in 2015 after graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
“Children need the freedom to appreciate the infinite resources of their hands, their eyes and their ears, the resources of forms, materials, sounds and colours.” - Loris Malaguzzi
This quote perfectly interprets the core of my teaching philosophy, which is based on the belief that true learning occurs when children are able to actively engage with content. I believe that children learn as they explore; they learn as they question; they learn as they do. My love for children and the passion to touch little hearts and shape little minds are two key driving forces that keep me going in this field.
I inspire to make a difference to each and every child, nurturing them into confident and compassionate lifelong learners. As Aristotle said, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”

Wu Laoshi
Wu Laoshi is the Kindergarten One Chinese Teacher. Graduated from Shanghai University, she intends to further her studies locally to better understand children with special needs.

Teacher Shannon
Teacher Shannon is our Senior English Teacher and Kindergarten Two Teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Years and Primary Education from Monash University.
I believe that all children are active learners and they are unique in their own way. As an educator, I aspire to create a nurturing environment that supports their development holistically. It is also important to have children in an environment that is consistent and secure. I aim to build a positive impact in the lives of children and build stronger partnership with parents and the community.

Shen Laoshi
Shen Laoshi is the Kindergarten Two Chinese Teacher. She joined us in 2017 with a Diploma in Chinese Studies (Early Education) from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
